Hi, I’m Jaclyn

Hi, I’m Jaclyn Hoffman

I became a widow in October 2019. My high school sweetheart and father of our children unexpectedly died from cardiomyopathy. Our world shattered into pieces that day and with the world going quiet about 6 months later, I had to find ways to support my grief as well as our heartbroken children.

As a licensed clinician, one would think I had tools readily available, but the truth is, no amount of training could prepare me for the depth of losing Alex.

I was angry.

I felt lost.

I felt robbed of our future.

I stuck my nose into grief books, spoke with various holistic practitioners and I leaned into spiritual practices. I surrendered to compassion, patience, and love as the fuel to grief healing.

I learned various modalities including grief movement, energy work like tapping, brainspotting, Reiki, sound healing, Heart Assisted Therapy®, HeartMath®, & SoulCollage ®. These techniques have played a significant part in my own healing journey.

In 2023, I began a local community group for widows and discovered the power of connecting with those on the same journey. Organic conversations on personal growth and healing soon evolved into a shared mission to help one another rise, rebuild, and rediscover purpose.

Now, as a coach, I’ve woven together everything grief and growth have taught me. The result is The EmPOWERed Widow’s Blueprint, a holistic path to healing that honors your past while helping you create what comes next.

She’s a guide for widowed women ready to meet themselves again through grief, soul, & all.

Jaclyn shows us that growth isn’t just a mindset, it’s a daily choice. Through her rebranded private practice, her community work facilitating a local support group for widows, and her voice in a collaborative book, Rise & Find, she proves that with perseverance, grief can become fuel for something greater.

She rooted & rising.

Continuing with Alex's legacy, Jaclyn manages a homestead lifestyle which includes sheep, chickens, honeybees, and a mini orchard. She also continues to plan family adventures with her children in their camper. She is fascinated by the metaphysical sciences and always acknowledges the synchronicities Alex and other loved ones send her.

Jaclyn chooses joy on purpose.

She knows the ache behind the smile.

She’s lived the long nights, the empty holidays, family milestones, and the quiet moments no one else notices.

She’s faced the “how do I do this alone?” and the guilt of wanting more.

And now Jaclyn helps other women rise from that same sacred ground.

Her coaching isn’t theory.
It’s lived truth, tenderly offered.

Because when you’ve carried that kind of grief, you don’t need to be fixed.

You need to be witnessed, supported, and gently called back to yourself.
